This role serves as a critical leadership position within North America Finance, with accountability for approximately $291M in Cost of Goods across both Godiva and pladis North America. It exists to drive financial clarity, discipline, and value creation across a complex and evolving supply chain network. The role plays a pivotal part in enabling transformational changes supporting the redesign of the Godiva value chain to deliver a sustainable, profitable, and cash self-sufficient business, while also leading financial oversight of major operational initiatives such as the Big Flats transformation under Project Atlas. Through strong financial stewardship and insight, the role directly influences business performance, profitability, and long-term value delivery.Ā
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
Cost & Working Capital OptimizationĀ
Conduct comprehensive analyses of the supply chain toĀ identifyĀ opportunities for efficiency improvement,Ā cost reduction, and inventory optimization.Ā Ā
Develop and implementĀ initiativesĀ toĀ optimizeĀ the supply chain.Ā Ā
OptimizeĀ Operational DeliverĀ
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to streamline processes andĀ leverageĀ systems for controls to ensure data integrity and transparency of key financial metrics.Ā
Oversee all financial aspects of supply chain operations ensuring data consistency with corporate SCOAĀ and IFRS reporting standards. EnsureĀ overall data integrity and transparency of key financial metrics.Ā Ā
Owner of Product costing in line with established pladis principlesĀ
Budgeting and ForecastingĀ Ā
Ensure delivery of short term and long-range financial targets.Ā Ā
Monitor performance against the budget and drive implementation of corrective actions where needed.Ā Proactive in bringing forth actionable insightsĀ toĀ identifyĀ trends, recommend course correcting actions and mitigate risk.Ā Ā
Lead Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, Monthly Forecasting & Accruals, Reporting of Monthly Actuals, Variance AnalysisĀ
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis, inclusive ofĀ monthly management packs for the local and global supply chain teams.Ā Ā
Delivering Key KPIāsĀ
Drive transparency in performance against key KPIās related to supply chain finance and drive intervention where needed.Ā
Ensure the achievement of financial targets and continuous improvement in KPI performance.Ā Ā
Specifically, deliver financial commitment of Project Atlas, Reading 1.0-3.0, Project Electra.Ā Ā
AuditĀ
Proactively assess processes and controls that have a materialĀ financial impact; recommend course correcting action as needed. Represent Supply Chain Finance to audit and internal audit.Ā Ā
LeadershipĀ
SupportĀ theĀ Head of Supply Chain and/orĀ CFO when presenting to the pladisĀ Americas LT and/or Global Supply Chain ELT.Ā

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
8+ years of progressive experience inĀ CPG or Food IndustryĀ
B.A./B.S.Ā in Finance or AccountingĀ isĀ required; MBAĀ or CPAĀ is a plus.Ā
Experience coaching and developingĀ financeĀ professionals.Ā Ā
Advanced analytical skillsĀ and experience harnessing technology to share insights andĀ information.Ā Ā
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsĀ

Ā ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
Base starting salary ranges from $180k - $205k/year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role includes:
