Machine Operator - Team 2

Candidates may be considered for 1 of the following roles: Packaging Operators and Processing Operators. Packaging Operators are responsible for achieving standards and being qualified in all activities associated with at least two packaging machines, including setting up packaging lines, changeovers, assembling/disassembling packing lines, cleaning, and training. They perform duties such as filling out documentation, metal detector checks, monitoring product weights, troubleshooting equipment issues, training new packers and material handlers, monitoring productivity, following GMP rules, performing allergen cleans, tool changes, and cleaning production floors. Processing Operators are qualified to run at least two Enrobing lines on the wet processing end, managing line speed and quality, understanding product components, managing chocolate temperature, assembling/disassembling equipment, performing filter changes, identifying root causes for issues, monitoring dry end production, recommending improvements, performing changeovers, cleaning lines, training team members, monitoring productivity and quality, controlling product weights, completing paperwork, and following GMP rules. Both roles require assisting in all line positions as needed and other duties assigned by management. Skills & Experience required include 6 months manufacturing experience for Packaging Operators, 1 year for Processing Operators, ability to read and understand customer specifications, and basic math skills.
