Summary
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is a cross functional role supporting the day-to-day execution of Precera Medical’s U.S. commercial and marketing activities. This position provides coordination, reporting, Salesforce, marketing, and administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) as well as the broader U.S. commercial team as needed.
This position partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Customer Service to help ensure commercial priorities are organized, communicated, and executed effectively across the organization.
Work Location
This is an on-site position with a primary work location at either the Big Lake or Coon Rapids, MN facility. Travel to the opposite location will be required as necessary to support business needs.
Occasional travel outside of Minnesota is required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the CCO and U.S. commercial team.
- Help organize and prioritize commercial requests, meetings, deliverables, and follow-up requiring CCO attention; gather needed information in advance and coordinate routine matters independently when appropriate.
- Support Strategic Account Managers and Business Development Managers with account planning, customer research, market intelligence, meeting preparation, presentations, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate customer and prospect meeting preparation, including internal communication, agendas, presentations, supporting materials, samples, facility visits, and meeting logistics.
- Help ensure customer commitments, decisions, and commercial action items have clear owners and due dates; maintain a consolidated action tracker, drive follow-up, and escalate at-risk items as appropriate.
- Support lead qualification, assignment, customer targeting, prospect research, and lead generation initiatives.
- Maintain SharePoint with sales tools, customer presentations, account planning materials, capability presentations, and other commercial resources.
- Maintain the commercial operating cadence and forward-looking calendar, including sales meetings, pipeline/account reviews, customer meetings, leadership reviews, trade shows, key deliverables, and CCO special projects; track timelines, owners, and follow-up.
- Support executive commercial materials by coordinating inputs, updating recurring content, and organizing information for review.
Marketing & Commercial Enablement
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for external marketing partners, coordinating priorities and deliverables, consolidating feedback, and elevating items requiring CCO or leadership review and approval.
- Support execution of Precera’s U.S. marketing activities and annual marketing plan.
- Leverage approved AI and digital tools to support research, content development, meeting preparation, reporting, and commercial productivity while protecting confidential and customer information.
- Maintain the marketing content calendar and track deliverables, deadlines, reviews, approvals, and follow-up.
- Coordinate marketing content across company communications, LinkedIn, website, email campaigns, newsletters, presentations, videos, photography, and other channels.
- Assist with creating, editing, organizing, and distributing sales and marketing collateral including brochures, one-pagers, presentations, samples, and digital content.
- Ensure commercial and marketing materials remain current, accurate, organized, and consistent with Precera brand standards.
- Support market research, competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, targeting, and market engagement programs.
Salesforce, Reporting & Data Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between the CCO and Salesforce account representative(s), coordinating support needs, enhancements, licensing, training, and follow-up.
- Serve as a day-to-day Salesforce power user and resource for the commercial organization.
- Support Salesforce data integrity, adoption, and consistent use across the sales organization.
- Maintain customer, contact, lead, opportunity, and activity information within Salesforce.
- Support pipeline accuracy, opportunity tracking, forecasting reliability, and commercial performance reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute Salesforce dashboards, reports, KPIs, and executive summaries.
- Collect, clean, reconcile, and analyze information across Salesforce, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other internal or external data sources.
- Assist with forecasting, trend analysis, and commercial analytics to identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring follow-up.
- Train and assist commercial team members and other license holders with Salesforce processes, tools, and reporting as needed.
Trade Shows, Events & Customer Engagement
- Coordinate planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, local business and industry events, customer events, facility visits, and other commercial activities.
- Manage event logistics including registration, booth requirements, hotels, meeting coordination, marketing materials, samples, shipping, lead-retrieval systems, and staffing schedules.
- Maintain event planning checklists and timelines and coordinate pre-event communication and internal preparation.
- Collect, organize, and distribute leads following events and help ensure Salesforce entry, ownership, and timely follow-up.
- Support post event reporting and measurement of leads, opportunities, customer engagement, and overall effectiveness.
HR & Event Support
- Provide support to HR as needed with career fairs, recruiting events, employee engagement activities, and other company events.
- Assist with career fair logistics, registration, materials, booth setup, and follow-up.
- Support the development and distribution of recruiting and employment-related marketing materials.
- Assist with coordinating company events and initiatives that support employee engagement and employer branding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales support, marketing coordination, commercial operations, business administration, or a related role preferred.
- Experience coordinating trade shows, customer events, or marketing programs preferred.
- Salesforce experience required; administrative experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project-coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and proactively drive follow-up.
- Experience supporting a B2B sales organization; medical device, healthcare, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Experience with reporting or data-visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing environments is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits Overview
Starting Pay Range for this position is $67,000-$78,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in the company’s bonus program.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with applicable county or city regulations if they exceed the listed range. Actual pay rates are determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, local labor market conditions, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language proficiency, and other job-specific qualifications.
