Deliver Driver, Part Time
The Pioneer has an immediate opening at its production facility in Big Rapids for a part-time Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight (newspapers) and delivering these bundles to various locations.Â
Responsibilities
- Safely operate all company trucks
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and fluid levels are correct before operating
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Abide by Michigan traffic laws
- Deliver freight to proper destinations on time
- Safety and efficiently load and unload cargo
- Properly prepare printed products for shipping
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive way
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Chauffeurs license or the ability to obtain one
- Abide by Michigan traffic laws
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical
- Ability to work early morning hours, up to 24 hours per week
