Yellowstone Club’s Retail & Rental department is currently seeking candidates for a Ski Tuning Technician for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November through April.

 

The purpose of the Ski Tuning Technician is to repair and maintain member, guest, and rental equipment.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately. 
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Repair and maintain Members and their Guests ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Repair and maintain our rental fleet ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Mount ski and snowboard bindings on Members and Guests newly bought ski and snowboards.
  • Mount ski bindings on this seasons new rental fleet skis.
  • Torque test new and rental ski bindings using a Wintersteiger binding function tester.
  • Assist our rental and retail departments when business levels require it.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding our tune shop services.
  • Charge the appropriate member account for shop services rendered.
  • Ensure proper selection, fitting, and selling of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in a ski/snowboard back shop environment.
  • Understand ski and snowboard functionality.
  • Knowledge of Easy Rent and Wintersteiger tuning equipment.

 

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
