What You'll Do

As our Inventory Control Specialist, you'll play an important role in keeping inventory accurate, organized, and readily available across the company. You'll work closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, vendors, management, and service teams to ensure the right materials are where they need to be. 


Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Manage daily inventory control processes and procedures
  • Maintain and improve inventory systems and databases under the direction of the Resource Manager
  • Conduct cycle counts across multiple departments and investigate discrepancies
  • Create and manage a centralized location for returned and warranty inventory
  • Review inventory reports and ordering patterns to help maintain optimal stock levels
  • Track purchase orders and monitor inventory replenishment
  • Coordinate quarterly or biannual cleaning and organization of service technician vehicles
  • Assist with company-wide physical inventory counts
  • Receive, organize, label, and stock incoming inventory
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Support other operational needs and projects as assigned. 


What You Bring

The Ideal candidate will have: 


  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, purchasing teams, vendors, and management
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control processes and procedures
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and inventory management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • A positive, professional approach to building relationships across the company
  • Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to collaborate across departments

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, supply chain, or related experience preferred. 

 

This Job Keeps You Moving

This is an active role that combines organization and computer-based work with hands-on inventory responsibilities.


You should be comfortable with: 


  • Standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and moving objects weighing 10-70 lbs. for extended periods. 
  • Climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, and crouching
  • Occasionally sitting for extended periods
