JOB DESCRIPTION
SECTION NO: ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
SUBJECT: E.V.S. ATTENDANT
EFFECTIVE DATE: 04-01-2024
REPORTS TO: E.V.S. SUPERVISOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean slot machine banks, table game pits, and all public area within casino and fort
- Clean and maintain outside walkways, to include casino main entrance, taxi stand, valet driveway and bus stop
- Clean restrooms
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Clean mirrors and glass throughout casino
- Clean escalators and elevators, including tracks
- Clean back of house area, employee areas and hallways
- Empty trash receptacles
- Clean and maintain all Environmental Services storage areas
- Operate, clean and maintain various cleaning machines; i.e. vacuums, floor machines, etc
- Report all safety hazards to appropriate personnel
- May be required to assist other department personnel in facility related duties
- Comply with company and department policies and procedures
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills to work productively with others
- Report for work as scheduled
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Plus any / all tasks deemed necessary by supervisor
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: None
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
No formal education required. Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions. Willingness to work as a team member for the success of the department and Treasure Bay. Awareness of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Excellent customer skills.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Able to lift in excess of 50 lb. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 30 lb. or more. The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, minimal reading, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, and effective verbal communication.
