Position Overview
Right Track Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our growing team in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The Licensed Outpatient Therapist will provide individual and family therapy to patients experiencing a wide range of behavioral and emotional health concerns. This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative treatment team that may include psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, therapists, and other behavioral health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions based on each patient’s needs, diagnosis, age, and treatment goals.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Provide care to patients experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
- Help patients and families develop healthy coping strategies, communication skills, and tools for managing symptoms in daily life.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, therapists, and other members of the treatment team.
- Coordinate care with outside providers, schools, families, and community resources when clinically appropriate and properly authorized.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in treatment-team meetings, case consultations, and professional-development activities.
- Respond appropriately to patient safety concerns and follow established risk-assessment and crisis-response procedures.
- Maintain all required professional licenses, credentials, and continuing-education requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice independently in Mississippi, such as:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist or other independently licensed behavioral health professional
- Experience providing individual and/or family therapy.
- Knowledge of behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, physician-led treatment team.
- Ability to meet applicable credentialing and payer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient behavioral health or psychiatric setting.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or family-systems therapy.
- Experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, mood disorders, and other common behavioral health concerns.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and insurance-based clinical documentation.
