Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Biloxi, United States. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our facility operations, ensuring that all systems and equipment run smoothly and safely. You'll respond to both routine maintenance needs and emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency, working collaboratively with our team to keep our facility in top condition.   • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and cooling towers
  • Install, service, and repair electrical systems, conduit, and wiring throughout the facility
  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including drain clearing and water line maintenance
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and fire-related issues
  • Repair and install equipment including lighting fixtures, ballasts, motor control gear, and high-voltage components
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication work as needed for facility repairs and installations
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues before they become problems
  • Operate and maintain two-way radio communication systems for coordination and emergency response
  • Safely and effectively use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs completed, and equipment conditions in a clear and organized manner
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure facility needs are met efficiently

Qualifications

  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficiency with two-way radio communication systems
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
  • Prior maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications required for the role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to respond to emergency calls and work flexible hours when needed
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
