The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) provides therapeutic treatments/modalities to patients to optimize functional recovery and minimize disability as directed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.
Required: Associate Degree-Associate of Applied Science and successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, Valid MS State Department of Health (MDH) Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license; or limited 90-day permit issued by MDH; Limited permit must be obtained and submitted prior to hire date. Valid Driver's License required for positions assigned to Outpatient Physician Clinics
Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
