A Player Service Representative is responsible for assisting customers in the exchange of U.S. currency for casino chips, credit chips, cash, foreign currency, Golden Nugget documents, negotiable instruments, and ambassadors of company good will. This role also sells gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to casino patrons, pay out jackpots and manages credit applications. Â
Responsibilities
Sale and redemption of casino chips and coin for cash (chips, foreign chips) and other like money itemsÂ
Issuance and redemption of MarkersÂ
Customer deposits/withdrawalsÂ
Cashing of checks utilizing computer terminalsÂ
Establish new computer accounts and process document requirements for credit, check cashing with policy and regulatory guidelinesÂ
Balancing assigned fundsÂ
Create and issue Players Club cards and promote the program and related promotionsÂ
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of player tracking system, promotions, events, entertainment and general property informationÂ
Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and credit linesÂ

Qualifications
Minimum of one year of cash handling experience Â
Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public in a clear and friendly mannerÂ
Knowledge of 10 key, balancing of banksÂ
Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skillsÂ
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environmentÂ
Minimum age is 21 years oldÂ
- Must be able to obtain MS gaming permit
