Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality computed tomography (CT scans) images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
Required Education: Graduate of a radiographer program. Â
Required License: Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi and Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology required.Â
Skills and Qualifications:Â Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne/airborne disease; contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances; exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, chemicals and illness); subject to varying and unpredictable situations; able to handle emergency, crisis or pressured situations; subject to multiple interruptions; occasionally subject to extended or irregular hours; requires judgment/actions that impact patient outcomes.
