Wastewater Plant Manager

H₂O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H₂O is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team in Harrison County, MS.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily wastewater treatment plant operations and compliance
• Supervise and support plant operators and assigned personnel
• Monitor treatment processes and adjust as needed
• Review operational and laboratory data to maintain treatment performance
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and servicing of plant equipment
• Maintain accurate operational, compliance, and regulatory records
• Respond to alarms, equipment issues, and emergency situations
• Assist with inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Train employees and enforce safety procedures and company standards

The Skills We Are Looking For 

• Active Class IV Wastewater Operator License 
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations
• Experience with wastewater plant operations and supervision
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
