Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor

Cooke Aquaculture has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s Freshwater Maintenance Team located in Bingham, Maine.

The Role:

As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor to our team of professionals. 

Primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:

 This includes:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair procedures on Bingham Hatchery equipment
  • Installs new equipment
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Assist with day-to-day facility procedures related to water quality and ensuring fish welfare is always met


Qualifications/Requirements/Attributes:

  • Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and determine how to correct them

  • Ability to maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures

  • May obtain quotes for equipment, maintenance supplies and parts for repair and place orders for them

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision at times

  • Able to plan-ahead and to keep maintenance supplies on hand to enable work to be carried out in an efficient manner

  • Comply with all internal policies and procedures
