Position Overview

Under general supervision, the EMS Technician utilizes New York State Department of Health Basic Life Support patient care protocols to provide high quality, safe and efficient emergency medical care to patients at assigned EMS coverage events.

UHS Emergency Medical Services

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$21.31 - $30.90 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Minimum Required:

High School diploma or equivalency.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Current certification by NYS-DOH as an EMT-Basic.
Possess a valid healthcare professional CPR certification (AHA, ARC, ASHI, etc.
