About the Position

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is looking for a Quality & Testing Associate to join our Quality team. This is an entry-level, hands-on position with opportunities to learn and grow within our Quality department.

The Quality & Testing Associate will inspect finished parts after plating, identify potential defects, assist with quality testing, and manage our salt spray testing process.

 

What You'll Do

  • Inspect and sort finished parts for defects or quality concerns.
  • Identify and separate questionable or defective parts and notify the Quality team.
  • Perform and document salt spray testing to evaluate the corrosion resistance of plated finishes.
  • Test and monitor the salt spray solution and operate the salt spray chamber.
  • Enter testing results and other quality information into our computer system.
  • Maintain accurate testing and inspection records.
  • Communicate quality concerns to the Quality and Production teams.
  • Follow established testing, quality, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with other quality-related tasks as needed.

Training will be provided on the salt spray equipment, testing procedures, and quality processes.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn.

Previous quality, manufacturing, metal finishing, or blueprint reading experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
