Pepperl+Fuchs, a global leader in the automation industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager for our VMT Division (Vision Machine Technic). In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge products and solutions while leveraging your sales expertise to drive business growth.
VMT supplies turnkey image processing, laser sensor systems and customized vision solutions for all industrial sectors. VMT solutions are based on our own self-developed product lines which cover the entire applications spectrum. As the competence center for vision solutions in the Pepperl+Fuchs group, VMT offers absolute high-level technology combined with highest investment security.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
The Account Manager has the overall responsibility for account management including:
- Growth of existing accounts within the territory.
- Developing new accounts within the territory.
- Presenting new product solutions to existing accounts and new markets.
- Learn new products and solutions as they become available.
- Reports daily activities and maintains priority accounts in CRM software.
- Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed.
- Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff and the general public.
- Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
The Background You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with sales in an industrial/controls environment.
- Experienced sales with automobile manufacturers factory operations preferred.
- Needs to be Flexible, self-motivated, likes to work in a fast pace environment.
- A bility to travel at least 50% of the time throughout the Southeastern U.S.
