Position Summary
The Concierge delivers exceptional guest service by coordinating upgraded amenities, managing reservations and inventory, and supporting VIP and patient needs. This role maintains the highest standards of professionalism, service excellence, and responsiveness while assisting guests with personalized requests and upholding Orlando Health’s values.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Enhances the guest experience, in collaboration with all facility departments.
- Understands and demonstrates outstanding behaviors and attitude that support the service philosophy, mission, vision and values of Orlando Health.
- Coordinates payment and confirmation of reservations.
- Monitors petty cash drawer, daily deposit of cash/credit receipts, monthly balance sheet report and internal department charges.
- Provides information for the marketing and sales of upgraded amenities program via group presentations, printed collateral andthe Orlando Health website.
- Works closely with Support Services on delivery processes for purchased amenities.
- Coordinates and assists with facility tours.
- Anticipates guests needs and responds to them in a timely manner.
- Answers requests for concierge assistance via telephone, fax and email in a timely manner.
- Maintains guest request tracking system (Concierge Assistant) and daily log book.
- Maintains concierge and VIP patient tracking/flag system in partnership with Patient Business.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, stateand local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/TrainingHigh School graduate.
Licensure/CertificationNone.
Experience2 years front line customer service experience
