Job Description

  About the People Inc. Fellowship Program:

The People Inc. Fellowship Program runs from June 2026 to May 2027. The program offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience working full-time in the office with some of our most popular brands. Fellows work full-time and are paid $18/hour.  

About the Team:

Located in Birmingham, Alabama, is the People Inc. Food Studios, a state-of-the-art facility featuring 28 test kitchens, 13 photo studios, a prop and styling studio, an outdoor grill/BBQ station, and an expansive showcase kitchen and tasting room for demonstrations and events. Powered by a talented team of test kitchen professionals, stylists, and photographers, the People Inc. Food Studios is the country’s premier creative hub, producing thousands of world-class recipes, images, and related content annually for People Inc.’s print, digital, and social platforms. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the general organization of the prop room

  • Run errands to purchase and return props

  • Conduct research for products needed for upcoming shoots

  • Create/modify props as needed

  • Help stylists prep for upcoming shoots; assist them on-set as needed

About You:

Candidates for this role should have: 

  • A degree in fine arts, set design, or related field. 

  • Excellent time management skills and and detail oriented

  • The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

  • A positive, can-do attitude, proactive, and work well as part of a 

team
