Description

Enters patient information into the computer system. Performs preoperative organization of the patient charts. Coordinates with physician offices concerning patient information, i.e., billing information, history and physicals, authorization or certification numbers, etc. Assists with patient billing and insurance calls. Provide back-up coverage for front reception desk. Receive payments from patients for services, copays, etc. and records them. Perform insurance verification procedures. Insurance verification, check if pre-authorization is needed, calling patients to verify demographics, and go over prepayment needs, obtaining history and physicals from physicians offices, printing and assembling charts, some scanning and/or post operative data entry.

830am-500pm
