POSITION SUMMARY:
The EVS Attendant is responsible for cleanliness within the casino. This position is to ensure that the Wanaaha Casino building is clean and maintained in proper order. Will assist patrons upon request, also perform other duties as assigned. Always maintain safe working conditions.Â

ESSENTIAL DUTI ES:
- Maintain the cleanliness of the slot machines and casino floor.
- Provide friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and Team Members.Â
- Clean windows and doors.Â
- Clean contaminated spills with appropriate cleaning materials and protective equipment.Â
- Familiar with the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Â
- Stock and supply all service areas with appropriate cleaning supplies, alert Facilities Management upon low inventory.Â
- Assist all departments by responding to EVS calls.Â
- Clean soda, coffee and condiment area and machines.Â
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including use of appropriate personal protective equipment where applicable and keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.Â
- Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements per policy.Â
- Replenish restroom supplies according to anticipated need and/or schedules.Â
- Collect and remove trash; clean carpeted areas; remove gum and carpet spots; vacuum upholstered furnishings and fabric; reposition furniture and equipment after cleaning.Â
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.Â
- Transport trash and waste to designated disposal area.Â
- Complete daily work assignments and responsibilities.Â
- Perform other job duties as assigned.Â

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Â
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience preferred.Â
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Entry level to three (3) months related EVS experience required to complete all duties and jobs.Â
- Customer service or hospitality preferred.Â
- Ability to follow safety guidelines when using required chemicals, equipment, and techniques while performing job duties.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.Â
- Knowledge of environmental service chemicals.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.Â
Other Requirements:
- Ability to maintain an acceptable attendance record.Â
- The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Â
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.Â
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend.Â
- Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds and/or push, pull up to 50 pounds.Â
- Must have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Â
