Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Position Summary
The Production Supervisor provides frontline leadership for manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. This position plays a critical role in developing team members, improving operational performance, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 15 to 20 employees while ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements.

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Team Size: Approximately 15-20 employees
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members.
- Direct daily production activities to ensure customer requirements and on-time delivery commitments are met.
- Monitor production performance and drive improvements in efficiency, labor utilization, quality, and waste reduction.
- Recruit, train, onboard, and develop team members.
- Manage employee performance through coaching and accountability.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve operational issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of production reports.
- Maintain and promote 5S standards.
- Support inventory accuracy, material flow, and production scheduling requirements.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading hourly production employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build productive working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience managing KPIs.
- Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
