We're looking for a motivated Contents Moving Technician to join our Restoration Team. If you enjoy physical, hands-on work, like staying active, and take pride in handling customers' belongings with care, this is a rewarding career where no two days are the same. You'll help pack, move, transport, clean, and return personal property while supporting families and businesses after unexpected disasters.
What You'll Do
- Safely pack, wrap, load, unload, and transport customers' belongings during restoration projects.
- Move furniture, household goods, office equipment, and other contents between homes, businesses, storage facilities, and our cleaning facility.
- Operate company vans and box trucks to transport contents to and from job sites.
- Use proper lifting techniques and moving equipment to safely handle items of varying sizes and weights.
- Inventory, label, and organize customer belongings to ensure accurate tracking throughout the restoration process.
- Clean and restore personal belongings affected by fire, water, smoke, mold, and other disasters.
- Perform post-construction, structural, and specialty cleaning services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while providing outstanding customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse operations, restoration, logistics, or professional cleaning is preferred (paid training provided for the right candidate).
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading throughout the day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when packing and documenting customer belongings.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, approximately 40–43 hours per week.
- Hours: 6:30 AM (occasionally) or 7:30 AM (typically) to 5:00 PM.
- Occasional travel and overnight stays (hotel and per diem provided).
