Itty Bitty Sports Instructors teach children ages 3-5 basic sports skills in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes learning and wellness. A variety of indoor & outdoor sports sessions are offered, including basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, football and play (red light green light, tag, parachutes and relays). Seasonal Part Time Shifts Available Monday-Thursday: 9:45 am-Noon 5:15 pm-7:30 pm Continued Year-Round Employment Opportunities in Sports Also Available QualificationsWe are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Must know the rules, procedures, and terminology of the sport(s). Experience playing, coaching or officiating sport(s) applicable to session(s) required. Desire to work with children ages 3-5. Ability to handle competing demands and appropriately maintain control of class required. This job is open to candidates ages 14 and older. Itty Bitty Sports program sessions are 4 weeks long, 1 day per week for 1 hour. Sports include baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and football.
