Black River Health is seeking an experienced Director of Quality & Risk Management to lead our quality, patient safety, and regulatory programs. 


The perfect candidate will have 3+ years of direct hospital‑based quality leadership (5 years preferred) and a passion for driving systemwide improvement.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Drive QAPI strategy and lead performance improvement initiatives
  • Oversee risk management and patient safety programs
  • Maintain accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and deliver training for staff and providers
  • Lead key committees focused on safety and regulatory excellence

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field
  • 3+ years direct hospital‑based quality leadership (5+ preferred)
  • Preferred certifications: CPHQ, CMQ, CPHRM
  • Strong project management and communication skills
