An incredible opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Black River Health.

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a Rural Health Clinic. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions through therapy and medication management. The PMHNP works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, addressing the unique challenges of mental health in a rural community while promoting overall well-being.

Position Schedule

Full-time, 36 patient contact hours per week
Outpatient only
No weekends

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree
Current Wisconsin license as an Advanced Practice Nurse and maintain good standing on the BRH Medical Staff
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification; Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialing required or Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialing preferred
Completion of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program; Prefer experience with primary care psychiatry.

Must maintain current BLS certification
