Bingham Healthcare is looking for an experienced and motivated Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and advancing the technology infrastructure that keeps our healthcare organization running.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, digging into systems, learning new technology, and seeing projects through from beginning to end. You’ll work with servers, virtualization, storage, Active Directory, applications, cybersecurity, backups, and systems across multiple locations—all while collaborating with a team that understands how important reliable technology is to the care we provide.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
4+ years of experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Strong experience with Windows Server and desktop operating systems
- Experience performing system maintenance, support, upgrades, and backup functions
- Experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, and VMware Horizon
- Experience with enterprise storage systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure system administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow production issues through resolution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Proficient typing and computer skills
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Systems Administrator, you will help maintain and improve the technology infrastructure that supports Bingham Healthcare across multiple locations.
Server & Systems Administration
- Maintain Windows, Exchange, and SQL servers in a virtualized and clustered environment
- Monitor system performance, logs, backups, and overall system health
- Perform routine system updates, audits, maintenance, and upgrades
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Active Directory
- Manage administrator and service accounts
- Install and maintain software on servers and workstations
- Tune system performance and troubleshoot system issues
- Maintain accurate system documentation and service logs
Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures
- Monitor backup processes and address issues proactively
- Participate in annual disaster recovery exercises
- Help ensure critical systems can be restored quickly and reliably when needed
Virtualization & Infrastructure
- Support VMware ESX, vSphere, and Horizon environments
- Maintain enterprise storage systems
- Support virtual and clustered server environments
- Provide systems administration support for multiple remote sites and stand-alone systems
Applications & Technical Support
- Provide data management and technical support for specialized software applications
- Monitor application status and troubleshoot application events
- Track, escalate, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
- Assist department managers and end users with technology solutions that improve day-to-day operations
Technology & Cybersecurity
- Help ensure systems remain secure through current cybersecurity best practices
- Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software solutions
- Assist with technology projects that support Bingham Healthcare's long-term goals
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, security, and efficiency
TEAMWORK & LEADERSHIP
This position works closely with IT leadership, department managers, end users, vendors, and other members of the organization. The successful candidate will be someone who can communicate technical information clearly, collaborate across departments, and take ownership of problems until they are resolved.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for maintenance, upgrades, or other tasks that cannot be completed during normal business hours.
