Bingham Healthcare is looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our growing Radiology team. This is a great opportunity for a technologist who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be an important part of both Radiology and Surgical Services.
In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging throughout the hospital, including in the Operating Room, while working alongside physicians, radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of imaging technologies and continue building your skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

What You'll Do
As an X-Ray Technologist, you'll provide safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic imaging services throughout the hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in the Radiology Department, Operating Room, and other hospital locations as directed
Operate general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray equipment, C-arms, and other assigned imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Properly position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while considering their condition, mobility, and comfort
Review images for quality and completeness and adjust techniques when necessary
Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and procedural imaging
Provide imaging support to the Operating Room during surgical procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team
Prepare patients for procedures and explain exams in a way that promotes comfort and reduces anxiety
Complete required documentation, exam orders, and related paperwork accurately
Ensure appropriate supplies are available for imaging procedures
Maintain imaging equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition
Follow radiation safety practices and all applicable hospital policies and procedures
Participate in ongoing education, training, and department competencies
Complete training and competency checklists for new equipment and technologies
Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in every interaction

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of, or eligible to graduate from, a recognized and approved Radiologic Technology program
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Licensure & Certifications
ARRT certification required, or registry eligible with certification pending
BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Ability to accurately position patients for diagnostic imaging
Ability to safely and effectively operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital imaging systems
Ability to learn and demonstrate competency with new equipment and technology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
