Job DetailsJob Location: Blacksburg 11 - Blacksburg, VA 24060Position Type: Full TimeJOB OVERVIEW The Marketing and Communications Specialist will play a vital role in establishing brand recognition, organizing and executing events, managing relationships with partners, guests, film studio reps, and on-site talent. RESPONSIBILITIES Job Duties include but are not limited to: Work jointly with location management and corporate entities to determine marketing and promotional goals and systems. Collaborate with publicity and events teams to develop mutually beneficial public relations and advertising opportunities. Oversee the planning and execution of major theatrical releases and associated promotions. Oversee the planning and execution of private rentals, parties, and special events. Work with corporate members to govern public, media, and press relationships. Represent the B&B mission and core values. Accurately report on efforts to relevant parties. Assist with any theatre-related duties as necessary. Cleaning. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Must have the availability to open and/or close regularly. Demonstrated talent, creativity, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities. Extensive experience in marketing and event management. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing promotional strategies. Expertise in event planning and execution. Comprehensive knowledge of public relations and media relations. Strong alignment with B&B Theatres' mission and core values. Strong reporting skills. Ability to assist with various theater-related duties. Must be at least 18 years old.
