About the Role:
We are seeking a Full-Time Universalist to join our Credit Union team. This role offers a progressive development path, beginning with teller transactions and member service responsibilities and advancing through training to include account opening, lending, and other relationship-based financial services. Based at our Prices ForkΒ location, you will provide exceptional service to members, accurately process financial transactions, and build trusted relationships by identifying member needs and educating them on products and services that support their financial goals. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering personalized solutions, enhancing the member experience, and promoting long-term financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales (40%) - Deliver outstanding service by assessing member needs, educating members on available products and services, and recommending appropriate financial solutions to enhance their banking experience.
- Transactions & Problem Solving (35%) β Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account inquiries. Provide accurate information and resolve issues promptly.
- Cash Handling (20%) β Balance a cash drawer. Receive, process, and balance daily financial transactions. Maintain accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Branch Operations (5%) β Support opening/closing procedures and assist with branch balancing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in banking, financial services, customer service, or similar experience.
- Education: Associate degree, business/trade school certification, or equivalent training (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and educate members.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer and administrative support systems.
- Ability to read and interpret financial documents.
Performance Expectations:
Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC requirements. Meet or exceed performance goals related to member satisfaction, transaction accuracy, and fulfilling member financial needs through appropriate products and services.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Work performed in a professional office/branch environment.
- Occasional travel to nearby branch locations.
Schedule: Monday β Friday; Some Saturdays
