Description

SUMMARY: Managing a team and reporting directly to Customer Success Manager, this role will be responsible for procuring freight from customers at a profitable price. Build the acquired load by inputting the data into TMW with accurate information. Securing a profitable qualified carrier to move the freight legally and within the customer’s guidelines. Updating customer with daily progress reports, and complete the transaction after the freight has been delivered.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:


  • Has the ability to navigate and is fully efficient in Kam-way’s operating system- TMW
  • Directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  • Ability to input loads from scratch to Load Competition
  • Contact assigned customers and give daily updates on freight being moved.
  • Contacting assigned customers via email & phone call on daily basis and update them on available equipment and ask for any extra volume.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Work on Report Manager and send weekly customer sales pipe line reports to the Manager.
  • Creating and updating on time pick up and arrival report on weekly basis, to measure our on time success rate this is required to be submitted every Monday for the prior week.
  • Ensuring that customer service is at a high level, by replying within 20 minute window to your assigned customers
  • Scanning and developing any Policy and procedure for the new and existing accounts.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Having the knowledge to process customs border paper work for the team
  • Research market trends and prioritize load assignments by customer and carrier preferences.
  • Negotiating profitable rates with customers
  • Meeting and visiting customers in person as needed
  • Managing team and ensuring your team is carrying out expectations and holding accountability. The ability to positively coach and build the team successes as well document progressive performance discipline with team members as needed
  • Facilitate team weekly meeting for development and process with team to build their success.
  • Responsible for maintaining customers trailer pools, and watching for equipment to be utilized correctly
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.



Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Under Graduate in Business or Management experience preferred
  • Dispatching and Customer Service experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of fleet management and logistics.
  • Budget development and oversight experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment.
