Memorial Community Hospital & Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our Diagnostics Radiology team. This full-time, day-shift role offers a 3Ă—12-hour schedule.
The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT equipment, performing high‑quality diagnostic CT exams, and ensuring exceptional patient care throughout each encounter. This role plays a key part in assisting radiologists with accurate, timely diagnostic interpretation.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform CT exams as well as X‑rays and any additional imaging modalities you’re trained in. Enjoy exceptional variety with opportunities to work across the ED, inpatient units, outpatient services, surgery, and more.
- Greet and care for patients with professionalism, compassion, and proper patient identification.
- Assess each patient’s condition and ability to cooperate to ensure safe, effective imaging.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures, expectations, and post‑procedure information.
- Review patient medical histories and identify contraindications for contrast media.
- Document thorough clinical histories for accurate radiology interpretation.
- Perform routine and specialized CT exams following departmental protocols.
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high image quality.
- Select appropriate protocols, technical factors, and supplies; adhere to radiation safety standards
- Administer contrast when indicated and perform venipuncture per policy.
- Complete post-processing techniques including MPR, MIP, and 3D reconstructions.
- Verify image quality and completeness before releasing patients.
- Communicate post-procedure instructions and ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Perform daily equipment checks, quality control tests, and report issues promptly.
- Operate PACS efficiently, ensuring accurate data and proper image transfer.
- Assist with workflow, scheduling calls, and general departmental operations.
- Collaborate effectively with the Diagnostics Manager and cross‑departmental teams.

Education & Licensure:Â
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Current Nebraska Medical Radiographer licensure.
- ARRT (CT) certification or board‑eligible.
- Current BLS certification required.

Preferred Experience:Â
- One year of experience in a high‑volume CT department preferred.
- Experience with power injection and strong understanding of CT scanning techniques.
