Description

Responsible for scanning credit file documents into the computer system daily. Responsible for managing escrow files, disclosure to customer, and ensuring payments for taxes and insurance are made timely.

Backup for inputting new loans, loan payments, loan advances, loan maintenance, etc. Ensure that all input has been entered properly. Backup for preparing loan documents for commercial and ag loan requests. Backup the DFS participation process.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Scan all loan files into computer system on a daily basis.
  2. Manage escrow files and disclosures. Monitor and disburse escrowed Tax and PDI transactions as scheduled.
  3. Be a team player in assuring the loan processing area is run smoothly.
  4. Backup with the input of all loan data into the bank’s computer system as needed.
  5. Prepare all loan documents for commercial and ag loan requests.
  6. Backup the DFS participation process from start to finish ensuring new volume is booked accurately & in a timely manner.
  7. Check back the accuracy of new loans, maintenance, payments, and advances.
  8. Accountable for compliance training and complying with regulations.
  9. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years banking experience
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to relate to customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to produce accurate results
  • Detail oriented

Desirable Requirements

  • 1-3 years direct experience in loan processing and/or loan programming
  • Understanding of applicable software
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Quick learner
