LAUNDRY WASHER/DRIVER - Union General Health System - Full Time

Job Title:      Laundry Washer/Driver

Reports to:  Laundry Supervisor & COO

Job Summary

The Laundry Washer/Driver will work as a Full-Time washer in our central laundry facility - and should also be able to drive the laundry box truck - as needed.  The Laundry Driver drives a company-owned vehicle over established routes to deliver linens and laundry in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to all Company and government/industry regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Laundry Driver:

1. Loads and unloads linen carts while tagging each cart accordingly
2. Maintains an accurate log while performing deliveries
3. Performs deliveries in an accurate and timely manner
4. Adheres to established precautions and procedures regarding soiled linens
5. Maintains cleanliness of company vehicle and equipment; performs job safely
6. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver’s License – with clean driving record
2. Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull a wheeled cart of 650 pounds
