We are constantly expanding our capacity and developing new products, which means more opportunities for our team to grow and advance.  Job Summary:  We are looking for a Tool Crib Operator to take charge of our technical inventory. In this role, you are the backbone of our maintenance department, ensuring that our production team has exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. You will manage the flow of tools and parts that keep our wire and cable production lines moving. You are the gatekeeper of our equipment—responsible for inspecting tools, tracking inventory levels, and working with vendors to keep our shelves stocked with critical spares.  Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Control the Flow: Issue and receive tools, ensuring every item is inspected for quality before it goes back on the shelf.  Master the Inventory: Use our tracking systems to manage thousands of parts, from tiny electrical components to massive mechanical gears.  Organize for Success: Lead the 5S efforts in the tool crib, ensuring a clean, labeled, and professional environment.  Support the Mission: Assist maintenance leaders in sourcing hard-to-find parts and verifying new shipments for accuracy.  Safety First: Manage the safe storage of chemicals and industrial supplies, keeping our team and facility compliant.  Required Qualifications:   Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical or maintenance-related vocational training preferred.  Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing, warehouse, or tool crib environment.  Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of industrial tools, electrical components, and mechanical spare parts (specific experience in wire & cable or plastics is a plus).  Software Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and experience with inventory or CMMS software.  Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to technical detail, and the ability to read equipment manuals and complex part numbers.  Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Long- and Short-Term Disability Accident & Critical Illness Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 11 Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Career development and advancement opportunities Qualifications
