Job DetailsJob Location: Primary - Pocono Pines, PA 18350LAKE NAOMI CLUB, POCONO PINES, PA                                 Housekeeper Lake Naomi Club is a premier and private second-home community located in the pristine Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, just two hours west of Manhattan. The Club surrounds one of the largest private lakes in the Pennsylvania Mountains and is recognized as one of the leading vacation communities in the country. Facilities are spread out over 3,000 acres and include a 9-hole USGA rated golf course, 18 soft surface tennis courts, 2 outdoor swimming pools, 56,000 square feet community center, 3 lakes, 3 ponds, 2 maintenance complexes, and an administrative office.  The Club is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all amenities and public areas of Lake Naomi Club.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the general direction of the Manager the incumbent performs the following functions: Sweep and mop vinyl and tiled floors. Vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors as necessary. Clean windows and mirrors as necessary. Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals, sinks, showers and countertops. Restock toilet paper, paper towels and soap dispensers. Empty trash from restrooms, offices and conference rooms. Remove dirt, fingerprints, and smudges from interior wall surfaces. Sweep patios, decks, ramps and walks. Inform Lead Man of Housekeeping supplies to be ordered. Inform Lead Man of Maintenance deficiencies or mechanical problems. Assist all phases of snow removal. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager Qualifications Basic understanding of building cleaning methods and procedures. Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and chemicals. Ability to read and understand written instructions, use good judgment in carrying out written or oral instructions. Ability to operate mechanical cleaning devices. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Working conditions Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places, and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risks of electrical shock, and vibration. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and smell. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times loud when operating equipment. Work is performed inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable situations. Attendance at maintenance related seminars/training classes recommended for all personnel.
