Job DetailsJob Location: Blanchard, OK 73010Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolPosition Summary: Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Proficient in assigned welding techniques Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters Conventional and precision measuring instruments Process inspection, certification, and documentation Welding equipment maintenance Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools Safety and housekeeping Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor Requirements/Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)  High school diploma, or equivalent Successful completion of an internal welding test One year experience in various forms of welding   This position requires frequent standing, talking/hearing, and lifting up to 10 lbs, with occasional sitting, walking, handling, and lifting up to 45 lbs. It involves navigating non-climate-controlled environments with potential exposure to fumes, toxins, and machinery, necessitating safety gear and close/color vision, with reasonable accommodations available.
