Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls from healthcare facilities and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Communicating with facilities to resolve prescription questions and clarify pending medication orders.
- Maintaining pharmacy and courier logs to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Coordinating with backup pharmacies and courier services to facilitate STAT medication deliveries.
- Working closely with pharmacists to support patient care and daily pharmacy operations.
- Delivering our WE CARE customer service promise and living our Pharmacy Made Simple brand commitment.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated, dependable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medication order entry or pharmacy operations.
- Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and medication orders.
- Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Medical Records certification is helpful but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
