Business Office Manager 

Department: Finance/Facility Operations 

Location: Facility Level – Optalis Health & Rehabilitation 

Reports To: Administrator / Corporate Finance 

FLSA Status: Salary Non-Exempt

Position Summary: 

The Business Office Manager supports facility operations by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and resident trust accounts. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supports the business office in providing excellent service to residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain daily census and payor reconciliations.
  • Manage cash receipts, billing, and trust accounts.
  • Ensure timely vendor invoice processing and accounts payable management.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
  • Support accounts receivable collections and resolution of delinquent accounts.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and vendors regarding billing and payments.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and billing/accounting software.

Required:

  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable and billing functions.
