Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to implement the preventative maintenance program of all mechanical equipment and to complete necessary and scheduled work order repairs. Contributes to the achievement of excellence through quality and care values in line with the mission of Duncaster.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrates dependability by completing commitments within established guidelines and completing necessary repairs.
- Checks the Worx Hub work orders daily and logs their progress from their assigned tablet.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Maintains generator in good repair.Ā
- Completes daily inspection of generator room and weekly generator testing.
- Completes all necessary documentation for inspections, testing etc. as required.
- Notifies manager and/or appropriate administrative personnel of serious mechanical problems in facility which may affect resident care or operations.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and functions in an organized manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3 years of facilities/maintenance experience is required.
- Must have general knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.Ā
Hours
Full-time, 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 40 hours per week
Pay
$23.00 per hour
