General Position Description 

 

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for establishing a market presence and growing sales of the PAR Excellence Inventory Management system in a defined territory. The RSM will be responsible for conducting sales calls with the following call points; Supply Chain, IT, Clinical (nursing), Finance, Technology & Innovation to promote our PAR products and service-based solutions using a consultative approach. The RSM will develop and maintain effective plans for their assigned territory. The RSM will develop and implement account specific programs and business plans. They will act as change agent to the expansion of PAR product and service portfolio utilization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Achieve or exceed sales quota for PAR Excellence Inventory Management system in defined territory.
  • Generate, qualify, and manage all sales leads, prospects and new accounts using CRM Account Classification system (Dynamic) to increase territory sales, volume, and profit.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with HCPs by acting as a change agent.
  • Build agreement at each point in the sales process, proactively removing barriers.
  • Create innovative tactical and strategic approaches to meet and exceed business objectives when faced with an obstacle or a customer concern.
  • Treat the territory as a business by creating and executing territory plan to effectively achieve goals.
  • Regional Sales Manager considers required investment and financial impact in developing customer strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with HCPs.
  • Collaborate across company functions to develop winning strategies for complex IDN customers. 
  • Establish a positive, productive and collaborate working relationships with PAR Excellence employees and colleagues.
  • Operate with the highest ethical standard during every customer interaction and in alignment with PAR Excellence philosophies and leadership principles.
  • Efficiently manage travel cost and leverage smart spending techniques.
  • Attend assigned trade shows that feature PAR Excellence products and services.
  • Perform all other essential duties as assigned. 
  • Must be able to travel as required (75%).
  • Must live in specified territory.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Must be functional in all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
  • Must have strong complex sales competency and analytical skills.
  • Ability to strategically plan and tactically implement is necessary.
  • Ability to project a professional image and strong leadership skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is preferred.
  • Must be a self-motivated, confident individual with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be results oriented individual with track record of meeting established goals and expanding market share.

 

Required Education, Credentials and Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven performance in health care Capital sales is preferred.
