Overview

The Resident Services Associate serves as a central resource for residents, delivering exemplary customer service and support while addressing inquiries and service needs. This position contributes to the efficient operation of the Resident Services Department by providing administrative support to the Director of Resident Services, coordinating resident service functions, and facilitating postal, copy, and fax services. The role also supports the planning, communication, and execution of resident programs, events, and trips, helping to foster an engaging and vibrant community experience.

Essential Functions

  • Provides exceptional customer service to residents by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and facilitating access to services through in-person, telephone, and electronic communication.
  • Assists in providing postal services and entering charges into the Full Count system.
  • Oversees resident use of copier and/or copy/fax documents for resident/resident committees upon request.
  • Processes incoming mail for Resident Services Department and forwards mail as needed and oversees the distribution of Assisted Living mail.
  • With Department Director, designs/distributes publicity for upcoming programs, trips and events, and prints/distributes the weekly and monthly calendars.
  • Maintains and updates resident policies and handbooks to ensure information remains accurate, current, and accessible
  • Assists with Common room reservations made by residents/staff.
  • Supports programs and events by submitting room set-up requests via WORXHUB.
  • Ensure Meeting and event spaces are prepared, set up and ready for scheduled use.
  • Trains in the Touchtown TV system and oversee film programming and slide design.
  • Supports the daily operation of The Commons Market.
  • Operates audiovisual systems for resident programs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of administrative experience required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Must possess superior customer service knowledge including excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
  • Addresses residents in a polite and respectful manner.
  • Demonstrates the flexibility and professionalism to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.


Hours

Full-time, 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Pay

$21.60 per hour
