JOB PURPOSEĀ 

Shovels, flushes, pressure wash and disinfect trucks, trailers and mortality reclaim equipment according to processes and procedures.Ā Ā 

Ā 

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ & TASKSĀ Ā 

  • Shovel manure and woodchips, flush, pressure washĀ with hot waterĀ and disinfect livestock trailersĀ Ā 
  • Unload woodchips from van trailers with a pallet jackĀ Ā 
  • Operate skid steer to remove woodchips from basket, unload pallets from van trailers, and clean floor drain pitĀ 
  • Report any discrepancies in truck wash equipment or PPE to truck wash crew leadĀ Ā 
  • Maintain a clean work environment and general housekeeping itemsĀ 
  • Pressure wash and disinfect trucks, mortality reclaim, maintenance or farm equipment as directedĀ 
  • Adhere to inspection process for skid steer and shag truck prior to daily operationĀ 
  • Operate bio-dry facilitiesĀ in accordance withĀ company guidelinesĀ 
  • Follow wash schedule as designed by truck wash crew leadĀ in a timely mannerĀ

REQUIREMENTSĀ 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ā 
  • Ability to read andĀ comprehendĀ simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ā Ā Ability to write simple correspondence preferred.Ā 
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations preferred.Ā 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructionsĀ furnishedĀ in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ā

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ā Ā TheĀ employee must regularly lift and/or move up toĀ 10Ā pounds, occasionallyĀ lift upĀ toĀ 25Ā poundsĀ andĀ occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ā Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability toĀ adjust focus.Ā

WORKĀ ENVIRONMENT:Ā While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend aĀ portionĀ of his time outside, atĀ times inĀ inclement conditions andĀ frequentlyĀ exposed to fumes or airborne particles.Ā Ā The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat.Ā Ā The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Ā
