Registered Nurse (RN) - Vein & Cosmetic Treatments

About the Role

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing outpatient vein care team.

This is a hands-on nursing role with a unique opportunity to develop specialized skills in cosmetic laser treatments and sclerotherapy for spider veins. Working under the direction of our physicians, you'll assess patients, provide treatments, educate patients on their care, monitor outcomes, and help deliver an exceptional experience throughout their treatment journey.

Prior vein, vascular, or aesthetic experience is not required. We provide comprehensive clinical training for RNs who bring strong nursing fundamentals, sound clinical judgment, and an interest in developing procedural and cosmetic treatment skills.

Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. Full-time RNs should be comfortable supporting multiple nearby Metro Vein Centers clinics within their market.

We are currently prioritizing coverage in our Wayne and Bloomfield clinics and are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Part-time candidates may support one or both priority locations, while full-time candidates will build their schedule across multiple Metro Vein Centers locations throughout Northern New Jersey.

Work Location & Schedule

We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse to support our Northern New Jersey clinics, with Wayne and Bloomfield as our priority locations.

We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates:

  • Part-Time: Opportunity to work up to two full clinic days per week, with current priority coverage of one full day in Wayne and one full day in Bloomfield.
  • Full-Time: Candidates interested in a full-time schedule must be comfortable traveling between Metro Vein Centers locations throughout Northern New Jersey. In addition to Wayne and Bloomfield, potential clinic locations may include Jersey City, Hackensack, Florham Park, Warren, and Rahway.

You'll work at one clinic location per day based on the established schedule and patient care needs.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Assessing patients prior to cosmetic vein treatments
  • Performing laser and sclerotherapy treatments under physician direction
  • Educating patients about procedures, expectations, and aftercare
  • Monitoring patients during and after treatment
  • Documenting treatments and patient progress within the EMR
  • Supporting new patient intake and procedure preparation when needed
  • Collaborating closely with physicians and clinic teams
  • Helping maintain an efficient, patient-focused outpatient clinic environment
  • Supporting nearby clinics within your market based on scheduling and operational needs

What You'll Do

  • Perform cosmetic laser and sclerotherapy treatments for spider veins under physician direction
  • Conduct preliminary patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examination, to determine suitability for treatment
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
  • Administer sclerosing agents using appropriate techniques following training and competency validation
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures for adverse reactions or complications
  • Educate patients on laser and sclerotherapy procedures, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed treatment documentation and progress notes
  • Support new patient intake, patient education, procedure preparation, informed consent, and aftercare instructions as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to maintain safe, efficient patient flow
  • Build trusted relationships with patients through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and clinical care
  • Support multiple nearby Metro Vein Centers clinics when required based on position and market needs

Education, Licensure & Experience

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Prior vein, vascular, sclerotherapy, laser, or aesthetic experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to complete Metro Vein Centers' required clinical training and demonstrate competency in applicable treatments
  • Full-time candidates must be willing and able to support multiple nearby clinic locations as scheduled
