Kamatics is seeking a Production Engineer who is responsible for developing production drawings, process designs, and continuous improvements to ensure products meet customer requirements, as well as productivity and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Create complex production drawings using CAD software, with a strong emphasis on 3D solid modeling
- Develop manufacturing sequence drawings in accordance with industry drafting and tolerance standards
- Create and maintain work instructions to support productivity and quality requirements
- Conduct tolerance studies to ensure manufacturability and process capability
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor teams to support production processes and improvements
- Provide guidance and support to technicians as needed
- Monitor and support productivity and quality performance; communicate updates to appropriate teams
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing engineering or machine shop experience
- Experience with CAD software required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Frequent computer work requiring visual and mental focus
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting
- Frequent handling of tools and materials
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally (15–40%)
