Quality Technician I - 2nd shift

Job purpose

• A Quality Technician I is responsible for performing product inspections and audits of our quality control programs. They’re also responsible for sampling and testing of incoming components and raw material.

Duties and responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Assist with first article layout, including reports for first piece submission, engineering changes, tool corrections, etc.
• Sample parts for final inspection and document appropriately.
• Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System
• Participate in monthly meetings and lead TPS projects

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain and encourage positive attitudes
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures

Working conditions

• Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.
• Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required

Physical requirements 

• Standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, kneel and squat.
