We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Decal Installer to join our reconditioning team. This role is responsible for accurately cutting materials to specification and applying decals to truck and trailer bodies while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in decal application, labeling, or a related manufacturing role.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or decal placement instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with automated decal application machinery and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in manufacturing.
  • Basic computer skills for logging work and reporting.
  • Ability to work 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply decals, labels, and adhesive materials to products and components accurately and efficiently according to production guidelines.
  • Inspect products before and after decal application to ensure quality standards and correct placement.
  • Maintain and clean decal application equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control teams to address any issues related to decal application.
  • Document work completed and report any discrepancies or defects to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.

 

Work Environment 

 

  • Temperature variations depending on season.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven repair and fabrication environment.
  • Manufacturing/shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, insulation materials, metal dust, and moving machinery.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and protective clothing.
