The Position:

Getac North America is seeking a Delivery Engineer to provide hands-on technical execution across customer migrations, product releases, production issue investigations, integration, data validation, and customer implementation activities. This position will will play a key technical role in supporting delivery, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our evidence management products and integrated solutions.

Essential Job Duties:

• Execute and validate customer migrations, including source-data analysis, SQL-based validation, reconciliation, defect identification, retesting, and customer acceptance support.
• Investigate production and technical issues across application, database, API, infrastructure, configuration, and integration layers using logs, system data, customer examples, and other available evidence.
• Support technical readiness for migrations, releases, integrations, and customer implementations by identifying missing prerequisites, validation gaps, dependencies, risks, and ownership.
• Work closely with Development, DevOps, QA, Product, Support, and Deployment teams to define technical issues, establish impact, provide reproducible evidence, validate fixes, and drive assigned work through resolution.
• Work directly with customers as needed to gather technical information, troubleshoot issues, validate solutions, and support successful implementation.
• Serve as a technical resource across the evidence management ecosystem, including backend services, databases, APIs, device integrations, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, servers, storage, and customer integrations.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, including implementation details, validation procedures, troubleshooting guidance, configuration information, runbooks, and known issues.
• Contribute to production triage and ongoing product maintenance by investigating issues, tracking follow-up actions, and identifying recurring problems or opportunities for improvement.

Experience & Education:

• 5+ years of experience supporting, deploying, implementing, troubleshooting, or operating enterprise software and/or integrated software/hardware products.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with Development, DevOps, QA, Support, Deployment, or similar technical teams.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted, on-premises, and hybrid enterprise systems.
• Experience working with REST APIs, system integrations, or other machine-to-machine interfaces.
• Experience with customer migrations, ETL processes, data validation, reconciliation, or similar data-intensive technical work strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting software releases, upgrades, UAT, or production validation.
• Experience translating customer or operational issues into actionable Development or DevOps work items.
• Experience defining, tracking, and communicating technical status, risks, dependencies, and operational KPIs preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory or enterprise identity integrations preferred.
• Experience with evidence management, video management, or similar high-compliance systems preferred.
• Proficiency in technical writing, documentation, and organization.

Travel:

• Requires travel 25% of the time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a driving record meeting company criterion.

The Location:

Getac is located in Irvine, CA but this position ut this position would be a hybrid (3 days in office) position located in our Bloomington, MN office.
