Housekeeper

Martin Luther Care Center is looking for a Housekeeper to provide a clean, safe and cheerful environment for residents, staff and visitors at our senior assited living and skilled nursing care facility in Bloomington, MN.

Full-time Housekeeping position includes:

• 80 hours per two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend

Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties:
• Vacuums
• Changes water bucket or mop head as trained
• Uses wet floor signs
• Maintains housekeeping cart and closet
• Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors
• Ensures chemicals are locked up
• Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms:
• Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant
• Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Vacuums carpets
• Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed
• Assists with emergency spills as needed
• Maintains clean linen carts
• Wears gloves at all times
• Assists with grounds cleanup when requested
• Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to:
• Room changes
• Cleaning wheel chairs
• Assisting with special events
