Keep Equipment Running and Help Support the Facility

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our growing manufacturing operation in Bloomsburg, PA.

This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for helping keep production machinery, equipment, and facility systems operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting equipment, and willing to assist with a variety of maintenance needs throughout the facility.

Employees are also eligible for a $50 attendance bonus each week with no missed time — potentially an additional $2,600 per year.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and help minimize production downtime
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
  • Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair work
  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or potential problems
  • Complete general facility maintenance and repair tasks as needed
  • Assist with basic building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or other maintenance needs within your skill level
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas
  • Communicate equipment concerns and repair needs to management
  • Follow all safety procedures while supporting production and facility needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous maintenance, mechanical, machine repair, or industrial equipment experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with production or manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to diagnose problems and perform minor repairs independently
  • Willingness to perform both equipment maintenance and general facility maintenance
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Willingness to work required overtime based on business needs

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Overtime may be required during peak production periods or based on business needs.
